BLACK BLAST!! LESS THAN 8000 MILES!
This beautiful Mustang Mach 1 goes a long way in bringing back the driving excitement that started with the original Mach 1 series that debuted in 1969 including the distinctive shaker hood intake.
The car is powered by a 305 hp Modular 4.6 L, 32 valve, DOHC V-8 hooked to a 5 speed manual transmission.
The owner of this outstanding Mach 1 added a list of performance upgrades. These include;
Cobra "Terminator" Clutch kit, clutch disc, pressure plate & throw out bearing, UPR firewall clutch adjuster and triple hook quadrant Cobra Wheels. Kumho 275 40R 17 front tires, Nitto drag radials rear tires. Steeda Tri-Ax shifter, Pro3i caster camber plates, weld-on sub-frame connectors and adjustable lower rear control arms. Magna Flow cat-back system with chrome tips, MagnaFlow mufflers, JBA stainless Mid-Length headers, JBA stainless hi-flo H-pipe, Cats MRT street performance springs, Steeda Mach1 strut tower brace, Mach 1 cold air kit, Pro-M 80 Mass air meter and underdrive pullies.
3.73 Ford gears, intake spacer, FL-1 kit ( to replace the smaller Ford filter.) Ford aluminum drive shaft, heavy duty cast differential cover and NGK spark plugs.
Some of the other Mach 1 goodies are "comfort weave" leather buckets, unique gauge faces, a polished-aluminum shifter handle (with an aluminum trim ring on the shifter boot), and optional metal-trimmed pedals. The seats are a terrific styling element that are supportive and look similar to the originals in a '70 Mach 1. The Mach's instrumentation does a great job of imitating the dark cluster graphics in the old car.
But thanks to the new Mach 1, you can once again look across the hood, nail the throttle, and enjoy that distinctly American muscle car feeling, as the engine rocks on its mounts and the hood scoop nods its acknowledgement. Some slices of history are worth repeating.
