The excitement of an open air British Roadster for not a whole lot of American Dollars $$$ The Triumph Spitfire is a classic British Sports Car loved by enthusiasts for over 40 years and this little car is a later model 1500 series with the larger 1493cc engine. Not that it is a high performance neck snapper, but it is a peppy, fun to drive, true open roadster. Nothing quite like them for driving fun and excitement. This beautiful Triumph is a well preserved and well maintained example of what these cars should be. The body is in great shape, nice and solid with only one small ding over the rear of the passenger side wheel opening, (see picture). The interior is in good condition. The center arm rest is worn and tape patched in the front as most are, an easy fix. The top has a small tear on both sides behind the side windows, (see pictures). The engine runs strong and starts well. It has been equipped with a Weber downdraft carburetor which helps with cold starting problems and improves performance. Over all the car runs and drives as it should and can be enjoyed as is or you could spend a little bit on improvements and make it outstanding. If you are ready for an inexpensive classic Sports Car, something to take out and enjoy on those special beautiful days take a good look at this beautiful little yellow Spitfire.
