Investment Grade Mopar
This is the only year the Challenger TA was built. It was produced so that Dodge could race in the Trans Am series. It consisted of a factory built 340 with special head work, Edelbrock aluminum intake manifold with 3-2 BBL Holley carburetors, power front disc brakes, heavy duty shocks and suspension, front and rear sway bars, fast ratio steering, front and rear spoilers, tinted glass, wood grain console, factory AM/FM radio, factory fiberglass Ram Air hood with fresh air package, and the unmistakable unique side exit, chrome exhaust tips. Only 2399 TA's were ever built and this is one of the best examples of what’s left of them.
We all know what the muscle car market is doing these days in terms of price appreciation. It’s even starting to become a topic of reporting in the
Wall Street Journal and other financial pages across the country and the Mopar Muscle cars are leading the pack as the Blue Chip investments of the market.
This beautiful Challenger TA is at the end of a complete rotisserie, nut and bolt restoration. It has a correct TA block and heads but it is not the numbers matching block. The cowl tag and the core support numbers match the VIN. Look at the pictures to see the attention to detail that has been given to this automobile. From the bottom to the top great care has been taken to bring it back to original condition and make it a car anyone would be proud to own.
Finished in its original Top Banana with the correct and very rare Salt and Pepper cloth and vinyl interior this car POPS. You need to come and see this one for yourself the pictures cannot show how beautiful the finish on this car really is. It would be a great addition to any collection whether you have an empty one car garage or building full of collector cars.
