This beautiful GTO Convertible is one of only 661 built in 1971 and it’s a sure bet there aren’t many left in this condition. This is the real deal, NOT A CLONE, fully documented by the Pontiac Historical Society.
It was repainted 7 or 8 years ago to its original Aztec Gold color and at that time the owner changed the interior and top color to black, it was originally Ivory. He also added the hood tach and the trunk spoiler everything else on the car is as it came from the factory except the AM radio is not in place.
It is powered by a Pontiac 400 engine hooked to a Turbo Hydro Matic 3 speed transmission. It has power steering, power disc brakes and air conditioning. In the interior it has bucket seats and console. The driver’s seat is POWER. Outside it has the dual side mirrors and is equipped with the original Honeycomb wheels, they are in great shape.
This GTO is a pure pleasure to drive. Everything operates as it should and it goes down the road tight, quiet and solid not with all the squeaks, rattles and bumps usually associated with an old convertible.
If you think you might be in the market for a very desirable collector grade convertible that you can drive and enjoy while it appreciates in value this beautiful GTO will be tough to beat.

JUST COMPLETED
Full Frame off Nuts and Bolts Restoration!!
Everything in this car is brand new or has been rebuilt and restored to as new condition. After the body and paint work was completed it took over 3 months to put the car back together, this is literally a hand built automobile. I’m quite sure it’s put together better than when it came out of the factory in 1966.
We started with a solid 66 GTO that had been in dry storage for several years. When we stripped the body down it was so nice and solid we went all the way with the restoration. It has been painted back to the original Burgundy Metallic, it’s so beautiful why change it. The original Parchment interior is brand new and all the interior metal has been redone. All the chrome and bright work on the car is new or has been redone.
The car is equipped with a 400 GTO engine not original to the car and the automatic transmission is controlled by a “his and her” shifter in a 1967 GTO console. We thought it a bit cooler. The entire drive train is rebuilt and fresh we even put in new rear axles. The car has power steering and dual exhaust.
Take a close look at the pictures. This car truly runs and drives as good as it looks. It will be a tremendous source of pride and pleasure for the new owner and that could be you. Call today.
