1979 Trans AM Complete restoration every nut and bolt. This TA is absolutely beautiful, and runs just as good as it looks, Black with gold trim and a gold bird, a nicely built 400 4bbl and a 350 trans with a shift kit and 2000 stall, posi rear end, PS, PB, A/C, Tilt, Cruise, PW, PL, T Tops and storage bags, Front disc brakes, Velour interior, Gold wheels an BFG TA Radials, and a very healthy sound system as well as a very healthy exhaust system, both sound GREAT! The paint and body are EXCEPTIONAL interior is like new as is the rest of the car, engine compartment is Excellent, underside of car is Excellent, Trunk Excellent, Wheels and tires Excellent!!! This car is well documented with 1 complete build sheet and 1 partial sheet, also a very full folder with receipts of every thing done to the car during the restoration. This is a Trans Am with something different. A beautiful custom paint job using GM Pearl White paint, a Cadillac color, with a heavy metallic. All the original decals are ghosted into the paint with a Pearl Gold. Very unique, very cool. You need to see this one in the sun. This is a 455 CI, 4 speed car with a functional shaker hood. It has an all numbers matching drive train and the correct matching heads go with the car. The engine has recently been rebuilt using some of the best performance components available. 7K3 heads, Ferrea stainless steel valves from Jim Butler Performance, aluminum Crower roller rockers from NUNZI, Comp Cam dual valve springs, Comp Cam valve locks and retainers, NUNZI 2041 HL cam, port blended, Ram Air D-port exhaust manifolds and a Quadra jet 800 CFM Carb. Clevite 77 bearings, ARP rod bolts, TRW oversized 455 pistons with Speedpro rings, Cloyes full roller timing chain and recurved HEI ignition. This is all setting on an all new PST polygraphite suspension, new leaf springs, coil springs and shocks. New tires and wheels, Goodrich P255 60R-15 on American Racing wheels. This is a gorgeous and very original 1976 Trans Am, 400 4-Speed with only 74,000 miles. This car was purchased in October of 2004 from the original owner, who kept it in incredible and original condition. It still has its original paint, interior, engine, and transmission. We also have the original build sheet and owners manual. This car was ordered from the factory without the bird decal on the hood, but we have a new bird decal that goes along with the car if you would like to have it on there. It also has the very rare rear console option, and full size honey comb wheel and spare tire in the trunk. This baby runs, drives and looks GREAT. It's ready for summer!
